I have always been interested in trying to capture something recognizable with art, although, doing it in a way that is personally satisfying is incredibly difficult. Since I tend toward the abstract in everything, my landscapes will always have an element of action beyond reality embedded in them. I need my paintings to feel balanced but possessing a lot of movement.
